This will be our 5th year doing The Mount Royal Stair Climb and we are hoping that this will be the best yet. We have Keg Parties (The Irish Embassy Pub) and a concert night (Brutopia Brew Pub) planned for later this year. We are also involved in a Golf Tournament organized by a third party who will then donate all the proceeds to us. More details will follow when finalized.

I would like to thank all the Sponsors, Participant and volunteers who helped make last year a success. It was a beautiful, fun day and we had a record turnout of over 100 participants. Even with a tough economy we were able to raise $19,000 for the Montreal Children’s Hospital ($112,000 to date) and $9,000 for the West Island YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

This year our money once again will be going to Children’s Hospital Autism Spectrum Disorder Dept. but due to circumstances out of our control, we will not be funding the camp - instead the money will be used for Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy, Food and clothing for families in need, Christmas Baskets, Assistance for projects for Social Skills group, Educational toys and equipment. By doing this we will be able to help more children and families throughout the whole year.
